It makes my heart sad just to look at this picture.Last night my three year old commissioned today as "book day". Today after breakfast all we were going to do was read books all morning until lunch time. We had it all planned out -we were going to start with the "If you give..." books and I even printed out color sheets that coordinated with the books so we could be "crafty" (does not happen enough around here).
Poor little guy woke up with a small fever that kept getting higher as the morning went along. He did not (and still does not) feel like doing anything but lying on the couch. So we have postponed book day to a later date, but he did not seem to mind because he feels so crummy. I am praying it is just a little bug and he will be back to normal tomorrow (& that it does not get passed along).
