I only have a few minutes...

Hi everyone! Sorry I have been so quiet since Friday. I just wanted to let you know that we are all healthy (thank you Lord!) - we are just getting back into our normal routine of school, work and church activities. I want to share about two more things (our anniversary getaway and Bruce's birthday) that happened over the holidays and will try to do so soon.

I also wanted to share a new thing we did on Saturday called Letterboxing (thanks Amber for the idea!). We had a great time and plan to make it a regular activity that our family does together. It was so much fun for us all. If you are curious what Letterboxing is, there is a great post about it at
His Girl's Blog.

My mom will be here this evening and will be spending time with us until Monday (yea!). We will be enjoying our time with her, so I am not sure how much I will be blogging (if any) or reading blogs while she is here. But do not give up on me - I will be back in full swing Tuesday the 15th with my regular posting.

I am off to finish cleaning my house! I hope you all have a great week!

I read about Letterboxing over at HisGirl's blog and I am so intrigued. I even looked at a couple of the places close to me and was surprised that there are hidden boxes at points along my favorite hikes! We're SO going to try this soon. But probably after the snow melts. We have 4-6 inches on the ground!

That is excellent! It's so rare these days to find activities that the whole family will enjoy!

Glad you are having fun!
Nan has posted about letterboxing in the past and she raves about it.
We have friends around here who geo-cache...similar, but involves a GPS
