Trip Decision

First, thank you all for your thoughts on our trip. I agree with those that chose Seattle, but it was not on Jeremy's list so it would not be fair to ask him to go there. We have decided on San Diego.

Deciding factors...
~Something very enticing about driving down the Pacific Coast Highway in a convertible.
~Jeremy wants me to go somewhere I have never been. Yeah- I get to add California to my state count.
~Excited about seeing the Pacific Ocean and real "sandy" beaches. Texas beaches are rocky and full of jelly fish. The one I went to on the Atlantic Ocean was very rocky. I want to have an OC or 90210 beach experience!
~Exploring San Diego and Coronado Island.
~Eating fresh seafood and Mexican food. Meredith says the food is really good. I too, travel through food!
~Maybe the chance to go into LA for the day?
Bonus~ Maybe get to meet His Girl in real life?

So let the planning begin! :o)

Side notes: The realtor's office delivered the brochures and "take ones" yesterday. We are praying for lots of showings this weekend! My weigh in is on Monday. I have to admit I did not get to Turbo Jam this week - way too exhausted with all the house stuff. But I have done great on the diet! We are going to some friend's annual Crawfish Boil on Saturday. Along with the boil they always have an amazing dessert buffet. I am going to have to show great restraint and stay away. Or maybe one small bite won't hurt? ;o)
Have a great weekend!

PS- I just got a call from the showing company. Someone is looking at our house at 11 on Saturday. Who-hoo!!

San Diego is BEAUTIFUL!!! I think you'll love it!

I forgot about Coronado Island! I saw it, and it looks beautiful, but I didn't get to visit, so you'll have to tell me all about it!

I will be SO jealous (but happy for you too) if you get to meet HisGirl. She is one of my faves!

Yay for your trip. I agree the drive in the convertible sounds great!

Even though you didn't "exercise" in the official sense of the word you were keeping busy...that's good!

Jenn--Thanks for all the comments! I literally laughed myself silly seeing them all. The number beside the word comments is definitely tied to my self-esteem haha.

I heart San Diego; however, you will be in charge of planning my next vacation. We never have any plans and last time I was in CA I did not see some of my dear friends due to poor planning (and terrible morning sickness). So, keep us posted on the planning; I could use some tips.

Thirdly, email me and send me a link to your pics. I'd love to see them!! lisa@andrewsmithteam.com

San Diego sound great. If there was a whole dessert buffet, I think you did pretty good only eating 2 choc chip cookies. They are my weakness too!

GREEN with envy. Lessened only slightly by the fact that I already know HisGirl. Maybe just to spite her, I will drive up to Texas to meet YOU. Hmph.
