For our Valentine's date Jeremy and I had a wonderful time at one of our favorite steak houses. Can you say hurray for Gift Certificates?! I am always so thankful for time alone to recharge and and have some kid-free time. It helps me not to take for granted our alone time, especially when we have a lunch like we did today. All I will say is that we ate lunch out together today and our 3 year old decided to make a fort and play super heroes under our booth and our 16 month old found his "loud" voice about the time we began to eat. For all you moms who are grossed out that I let my 3 year old play under the table: 1. The floor under the table had carpet and had nothing on it 2. The restaurant has only been open for two months so it was "new" carpet and 3. To keep the peace sometimes ya just gotta give in! ;o) Needless to say we could not get out of there fast enough.
On the 16th we went to Blaine's house to have a family birthday party for my nephew -it is sad how busy life gets that it takes a party to get us all together. It is always so much fun for me to watch my boys play with their cousins!
We enjoyed my parents (and their puppies) visit. Our oldest and youngest boys enjoy Oscar the pug, but the 3 year old LOVES him. For part of his Valentine's present, my parents gave him a stuffed pug (not a real pug who was stuffed but a toy) that he instantly named in honor of his buddy. He sleeps with and talks to the "stand in" friend as though he is the real thing - I love his imagination. One of the highlights of the visit for him was giving Oscar a bath.
Sorry Samantha (parents Cocker Spaniel) for no blog love this time - maybe on your next visit. But you should not feel left out, because our 16 month old loves you very much - maybe a little to much for your liking!
So that catches you up on our exciting little life. I'm glad to be back!

Those puppies are CUTE!
Love your parents new puppy. You need a puppy too!!! I can't believe your parents cocker spaniel is still around. I think she and our Angel are about the same age. Tell Jeremy to take you all dog shopping...
