Lemonade Stand

Last Saturday our 8 year old, along with his friends, had a lemonade stand to raise money to find a cure for Niemann-Pick Disease which their friend's twin sisters' were born with (you can learn more about the family and the disease by clicking the picture of the angel twins on the right side of my blog). Our neighbors and community really stepped up by donating $624.50! I am so proud of these kids for spending a Saturday helping others. What a great day.

OHHH Jen!!!!!!!!! How precious! What a wondeful lesson of selflessness they learned today!
I think one of the best lessons we can teach our children is to think of others first.

Glad your computer is fixed. We missed you!

Nathan and I are looking for web cams. He will be gone most of Aug/Sept/Oct, so we want the girls to still be able to talk to him and "see" him.
